- The Canadian government advises its citizens not to visit Sudan due to armed conflict, civil unrest, terrorism and kidnapping, the volatile security situation.
- Khartoum International Airport is closed and options for leaving Sudan are extremely limited. There may be ongoing disruptions to critical infrastructure and essential services.
- Visa on arrival if holding letter of invitation registered in Sudan with a pre-approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Sudan).
- Can obtain a visa upon arrival if married to a national of Sudan or prove that are of Sudanese origins from the father's side.
